The American Film Association Gala brings award-winning producers together with investors, financiers, distributors, exhibitors, theatre owners, studio executives, and established filmmakers at The Beverly Hilton for a formal dinner and awards ceremony.
Guests will represent the people shaping films across the full industry, from independent production and finance to studios, sales, and distribution. The gathering reaches beyond American film, with experienced professionals whose work serves audiences around the world.
The night is built for meaningful conversation among peers whose leadership, judgment, and work shape the industry and sustain cinema. It recognizes the professionals who carry film forward, from the first commitment of capital through production, distribution, exhibition, and the audience experience.

Aspiring filmmakers and actors may apply to support the AFA Film Conference and Gala on November 8, 2026. Assignments may include morning setup, decorating, conference support, guest welcome, check-in, wayfinding, and other event needs. Volunteer service does not include dinner or guaranteed access to the awards ceremony.
