Join the Welcome Committee

We invite aspiring filmmakers and actors to apply for volunteer roles supporting the conference and gala. Volunteers help guests feel welcome and keep the day running smoothly.

Possible assignments

Morning setup, decorating, conference support, guest welcome, check-in, wayfinding, and other event needs.

Availability

Tell us whether you can help for the full day, the morning setup, the conference, the gala only, or a combination.

Dinner and ceremony

Dinner is not included. Volunteer assignments do not guarantee access to the awards ceremony, and some volunteers may not be present during dinner or the ceremony.

Selection

Volunteer places are limited. Applying does not guarantee a role. AFA will contact applicants who are selected with their assignment, schedule, dress standard, and access instructions.
